About Audrey Hulburd

After the family moved to Greenbrae in 1974, she worked for Presidio Press before becoming a tour manager in 1981. Until 1993, she led tours as far east as the USSR and as far north as Alaska and to other destinations throughout Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. She served on the Board of the San Francisco Tour Guide and was Art Editor of the San Francisco Guide Post.

As an illustrator, watercolorist, and pastelist, her memberships included the Marin Watercolor Society and the Marin Society of Artists where she served on the Council and the Board was a Signature Member. She was a member of the Sebastopol Center for the Arts. Her artwork was recognized by the Marin County Fair 2000 Fine Arts Jury with both an Merit Award and an Honorable Mention Award.

Her published illustrations have appeared in various media such as the Yosemite Association Field Seminars Catalog, the Shamrock Materials Company 2000 calendar, Nebraskaland Magazine, Rock and Gem Magazine, Viansa Winery, the Bon Air Center 1995 calendar, the Cloverdale Old Time Fiddle Contest, Dunsmuir House, Frank Howard Allen Realtors, Hansel Ford Santa Rosa, Backpacker Magazine, and Marin Scuba Club. Her solo exhibits include the Linda Penzur Gallery in Anselmo.

She was active and served on the Board of the Mount Tamalpais Interpretive Association and was a member of the Tamalpais Conservation Club.

She is survived by two children, Jeanne Warren and John Hulburd and her grandson, Christopher Warren.
